The new semester is coming and here we are with ideas. As usual, we are required to propose at least 3 ideas or more with detail research. So let us jump into the pool of thoughts and ideas:
1) Newbie Driver
Have you ever wonder how or what you would do when you are in a car accident? "In 2016, a total of 7,152 people died in road accidents in Malaysia, an alarming jump from 6,706 deaths in the year before, Transport Minister Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai announced (The star, 2017)." Malaysia is even ranked as one of the top three countries in the world with the deadliest roads (says news, 2017). During an accident not matter whether it is big or small, do you know how to react or response?
What is the issue/ topic/ concept?
Drivers might not know what should they do during an accident, who to call or what should they record down. So there are two ideas for this concept one is to how to make a report for further emergence, the second is an app that helps to teach new drivers how to fix their car when the car breaks down. Here are some of the examples I want to show before explaining further:

Here are some of the examples I want to show before explaining further:
So this is an app that helps to make a report but it is specially made for drivers in the u.k. In: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=osodigital.auto_accident_help_native
The second app is also made for reporting how to take records down to get ever information down in the checklist and make an emergency call. The idea is to make an app to help new drivers with recording down evidence at the same time able to help new driver when the car breaks down. In: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.naic.android.wreckcheck
Who needs it/ will experience it?

My target audience teen/young adult drivers (new drivers), why do they need this artefact I'm making? So new drivers are lack of knowledge when it comes to dealing with car accidents or a breakdown. What if they don't know who to call or what is the number to call for help.
What am I making?
An app
What is the key unique of the idea?
1) They know who to call (in the area they are in)or what action to take during car accidents
2) An app to teach them with knowledge when there is no data/wifi (example: how to fix a car tyre)
3) They an app can remind you taking pictures of evidence can access location to call for help if there are people injured
-There is no such app in Malaysia and the interface from others competitor look outdated.
What am I trying to achieve?
To help educated drivers at the same time help them to make a report to save time and money. Most importantly able to solve the worries of new drivers (where, how, what to deal with when this situation happens)
2) Water Donation

2) Water Donation
We now live in cities with waters, electricity and delicious food. But still, around the world, there are around 2.4 billion people who do not use improved sanitation. We all know there is a serious problem and we can find a lot of them in the newspaper. Even if is a problem we do know, still there are people who don't know there is website like water donation.
What is the problem?
Need to let people be aware of water donation, from my observation not many people donate to water needs. Need to bring the awareness and donation, so may collaborate with companies/supports to help donation increase.
What am I making?
A Website
Who needs it/ will experience it?
Adults that cares about donation or people who want to help
What is the key unique of the idea?
This idea is still not confirmed but an idea of an experience. Users able to connect to their mobile to interact with the same website on desktop, the interface of the user's mobile will be a glass of water. When users pour the glass of water into the desktop the water tank/or something will receive a donation.

Help to increase water donation
3) Plastic pollution in the ocean
The latest research in 2017 July from Daily Mail, as much as 8 million tonnes of plastic is dumped into our oceans every year, endangering marine life and, if it enters the food chain, endangering humans too. Now, an interactive map has revealed where the 5.25 trillion pieces of plastic adrift in our oceans end up. Densities of plastic are shown as white dots around the map, each of which represents 20 kilograms (44 lbs) of damaging ocean waste (Daily Mail, 2017 & Wilcox, 2015).
What is the problem?
Plastic pollution is getting more and more serious, people need to be educated.
What am I making?
A Website
Who needs it/ will experience it?
Young generation from age about 16-28
What is the key unique of the idea?
Educational with experience
What am I trying to achieve?
Awareness of the problem of plastic pollution in the ocean
4) Boh Tea Branding
This is an immature idea which I came up during the discussion. This is about Boh tea is a popular brand in Malaysia, I want to create collaborating with this brand/ rebranding.
What is the problem?
Needs rebranding, change the mind of how people taste tea.
Who needs it/ will experience it?
Tea lovers
What is the key unique of the idea?
To set different perspective of how people look at tea
What am I trying to achieve?
Promote Boh tea
Feedbacks for the first meeting with Sweii:
The topic needs to open up for ides 1 because the situation for using the app is too specific. Same as for the other ideas 1,2 and 3 need to do more research on how the user will behaviour or what is the user's needs.
So I will be updating my new ideas on the next post with more proper detail research. Why need new ideas? I will explain in the next post, see you again on the next post~
Thoughts of the day:
During the consultation I know that these are not the idea I will be going for, the research is not strong enough and it is not my interest. So I feel sad after the meeting because I know ideas are hard to come out and by just listening to coursemate's idea proposal it finally clear my mind. I got a sense of feeling the next 3 new ideas will be great.
