Behaviour study
Here it finally comes, so today I will be talking about the result of my survey and studies of the survey. What I find interesting about is some of the answers given. At the end, I will be talking a little about my execution for the big three. Once again let us dive into the pool of information:
* These survey is done with the student in The One Academy and close families.
1) Nightmares wonderland
I am targeting people that age around 18 to 30 due to the research I found in the previous post. I know the survey is still very weak due to not many amount of people have done it. So this little amount of people can't prove anything, but it is a good start to understand my user behaviour before I jump deeper into the topic. I made a mistake with this survey which is not giving the option to answer freely but only Yes and No. I did learn from my mistake and did a better one on the next survey for the next topic.
So 10 out of 16 people, most of them get nightmares once or twice a month. From the information gathered below shows, people do dream of nightmare quite often and it shows that they don't have ideas what is about their nightmares. So how they consider a dream as a nightmare which most of them reply with feeling bad, feeling sad/makes them cry or feel horrified.
From the result I realize people don't understand what is behind the nightmares, they would like to understand it if there a thing to guide them. In one of the questions above half of them know that they need to understand the nightmare to overcome it, but none of them did try which is a good thing to know. There will be an improved survey to further study about my audience in the future.

2) Childhood obesity
In this survey, I am targeting parents due to parents are the ones which can help educate their children. In research, one of the findings is parents tend to see chubby children as a sign of health/looks cute or parents never notice the problem of overweight, this survey will answer all the questions of how parents see this problem. The survey is answered in two languages due to some parents unable to read English.
Most parents cook for their children but at the same time, 11 of them work full time and 3 work part-time. This shows that parents are busy, but they still try to cook for their children. An opposite result, 10 parents choose no to "chubby as healthy" while 5 choose "maybe". Although the research shows school food is part of the reason that children became overweight but the result shows that parents don't see school food is part of the reason.
At the end of the survey, we can know that parents think that children nowadays spent too much time sitting, eating fast food and not exercise enough. Parents in Malaysia think they should control the food of what the children eat and they think most parents don't have the correct information to help their children.

After the survey, I have no clues to on how to solve this problem. Due to I don't know should I provide educational information or motivation. Maybe an informative website should be suitable as the solution to the problem.
3) Slang vs slang
This idea is to let people learn slang in a fun way, which challenge the best motivation to make people willing to learn and memorize. Before that, I need to understand what types of people or what is the characteristic of those users who like to play trivia games. I have 3 executions but I don't know which one is the best so I let my user pick over these 3 options in the survey.
1) Only Manglish slang
2) Any language slang v.s. any other language slang (pickable categorise)
3) Able to make question on your own
There are two sections, one is those who played trivia games another is those that don't play trivia games. Section one (who play trivia game), the fun part of this genre of game is able to challenge friends also love the feeling of winning. From the result I can see that they feel nice to learn new information, feeling of winning and feel smarter than their friends. But why they stop playing is because of lack of responses (waiting for others) or either no friends playing with them. Most of them selected only challenge Manglish because it is hard to challenge a language you never interact with.
Section two: For those who don't play trivia game would like to try if there is a game related to slang. The response is different from section one, they tend to select to challenge different languages and suggest to have different levels of difficulties.

The group of people I should target is young adults who like knowledge and challenge. The answer to which language to challenge is either Manglish or language from other countries.
Thoughts of the day:
The survey truly helps me to understand deeper about my targeted audience and some of the responses are positive. From the response, I can pick the best experience, medium and solution. I will bring the result and discuss with my specialist.
