Specialist meeting- 5

The next meeting on 13 June: things discussed in this section was the art style and the content of the nightmares.

Art style: I have been always wanted to try 3D art for a while now, but if I really want to play with interaction in a 3D environment I will need to learn new coding skills in Three.js. Coding is part of my weakness and I need to think about how am I going to learn a whole new skill with my time limitation. The reason for trying out 3D is because for my assignments vector art is the only thing I have done, as for this time I want to use something else than vector.

Content: The content is base on a secondary source of a survey of 2000 people. There are other resources that have been studied on and came up with this conclusion. Music is a part of the key experience, which I was wondering could I take from free source or is better to make it on my own.

4 picked of nightmares:

1) Failing (64.7%)
2) Being chased  (63.3%)
3) Death (54.9%)
4) Feeling lost (53.8%)

Feedbacks:

- Learning 3D interaction might be difficult for me to pick up quickly, but with good time management, it is still feasible.

- There are other types of 2D drawing style I could try to explore on, like hand drawn or those with texture.- I could start looking into my technical parts, which tools or software I am going to produce this artefact.

- If music is part of the core experience is better to make my own music and sounds.
