Alpha test: drowning sorrow

As I said in the last post, I fail what I supposed to test and show in the alpha test. What I did is to try to make a placeholder for the user to click on the left image below, no matter how they click it would go back to the customization page.
The time has come and here goes everything I could do for alpha test, I make a list of questions:
I know what I have and what I want to focus on but my code is not ready for that much interaction. I was the head start for alpha test, I try my best to observe what the user would do with the customization. Here is an overall result:
- Most users need time to figure out the customization (they learn)
- They don't know it can swipe to the next slide
- Keeping on clicking on the customization because there is no more interaction with the product at this stage
- some buttons do not work as expected
- Still no music to interact with
- Don't have a full journey, so there is no experience to comment on
- confused on why there is an animated background but the others don't have.
- the customization is fun but hopes to look at the result of the nightmare
- the fake page I made confuse them
Some suggestion the user commented on:
- Can consider hiding away the buttons after a few seconds without touching the interface
- Can add instruction before interacting with the customization controller, to have a full view of the animation
- The left and right arrow can add bigger because it is hard to see
- The arrows could be closer to the image.
- The icons and UI need to change because it confuses people by looking at it
Thoughts of the day:
I am having a lot of trouble with solving the slicer controller, and I didn't do well for this alpha test. But there are another 2 more weeks till beta test and I will finish my user journey and try to finish as much animation as possible.
