Group Critic Section

There is always space for improvement, but once you work on a project for a long period you might feel numb, unable to see what's wrong. So there comes a week for group critic that was organised, for looking at our design elements, UIUX and the overall flow. the most important part what is the "thing" we want the group to critic on. For example, content, flow, art style or font type and so on.
From my last post, it was about the sudden change of my main core interaction (customization function). Because of the sudden change, I lost my direction on what kind of interaction should I go for. The comment Sweii given is to use this chance to let the group comment and choose the few designs option (customization interface). List down what interaction I need and wanted to achieve.
---------------------------------
The list was given: What to comment
1) comment on the customization interface (interaction)
- given 5 version of the customizable interface:
-comment on which UI makes more sense
-Which is easier to understand
2) the overall flow of the website
-is it suitable?
-is the font suit the overall mood?
-do the website and content feel like nightmare?
Not to comment:
-the art direction
-the content of the nightmare
The suggestion & critic & feedback from classmates and lecturer:
1) The composition of the landing page feel wired - try to make it centralised
2) On the main page, the line of the information sides should be taken away
- suggestion: that the moon could use suck/ zoom in out as the transition
- tap to continue instead of skipping the whole information (should let the reader take control in their own speed)
3) 4 Nightmare page looks like information more than clickable content. Could consider adding buttons or words that connect to nightmare (call to action)
4) The gallery should open up the animation instead of just an image, it will improve the overall experience.
- maybe the gallery could be full screen
5) Pick: combine customizable UI number 3 & 4, it would make it more intuitive to use and to view the animation of the background.
- could make the animation sidebar expand instead of sliding
- would be more immersive to the nightmare if there were fewer buttons/ elements (to have a full view of the content)
- could have a slider to swipe to customize the content
- or plus buttons to select on
6) The logo can try to use back the same treatment as the visuals with blue and red lines
Thoughts of the day:
I would like to try using plus as my final UI for the customization page because it hides away extra buttons (can have a full view of the animation content). This section helps me a lot on the UIUX, thinking thoughts on which one would make the interface communicate better to the user. I will try to start coding and prepared for the alpha test
